The Chelsea 489XLAHX-V3RE or 489XLAHXV3RE is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt aperture, eliminating the adapter plate that creates an extra leak path. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and features a 1-1/4" round output shaft with keyway. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
