The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XFITX-A3GK or 489XFITXA3GK, is an 8-bolt PTO assembly with wire/cable mechanical shift designed for manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round style. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal parts are common with the Chelsea 442 Series.
