The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XFITX-A3XQ or 489XFITXA3XQ, mounts directly to 8-bolt transmission openings on most manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller and Volvo/Mack applications. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a common leak path. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range, with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. The 1-1/4" round output shaft accommodates a key. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for improved load-bearing capability.
