The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XFITX-A5XD or 489XFITXA5XD, mounts directly to 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, Tremec, and other compatible transmissions without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing shares the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series. Output is a 1-1/4" round shaft (with key option), and shift is wire/cable mechanical. Shaft power ratings run 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM, with output power in the 46-55 HP range. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
