The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XHAHX-A3GH or 489XHAHXA3GH, is an 8-bolt PTO assembly designed for manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and others with a standard 8-bolt PTO opening. The integral one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round configuration with keyway option. Wire/cable mechanical shift type with an electric-over-air shift option available. Intermittent torque rating for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm); shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal parts are common with the Chelsea 442 Series.
