The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XHAHX-V3AZ or 489XHAHXV3AZ, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths and installation time. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft accepts a key. Intermittent torque rating for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm); shaft power is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity.
