489XHITX-A3AZ Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XHITX-A3AZ or 489XHITXA3AZ, is an 8-bolt PTO designed to mount directly to manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate leak path while delivering the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with keyway. The wire/cable mechanical shift configuration suits a broad range of vocational applications, from dump trucks and utility bodies to snow and ice removal equipment. Internal components are common to the 442 Series, which simplifies parts sourcing and service. Tapered output bearings replace needle bearings for increased load capacity.
