The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XHITX-W3GF or 489XHITXW3GF, is an 8-bolt PTO assembly designed for manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, and Eaton Endurant. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft is available with or without a keyway. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm); shaft power output is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal parts are common with the Chelsea 442 Series.
