The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XLAHX-V5RF or 489XLAHXV5RF, is an 8-bolt, 25/34 standard mount PTO designed for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and delivers output power of 46-55 HP. This series uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability, and features a 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft. Wire/cable mechanical shift operation.
