The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XLITX-W3XD or 489XLITXW3XD, mounts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec, no adapter plate required. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm) range, the same torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Output is a 1-1/4" round shaft (with key), rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
