The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489XQITX-A3AZ or 489XQITXA3AZ is an 8-bolt PTO assembly designed for most manual transmissions, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift with an electric-over-air shift option available. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Intermittent torque is rated at 250 lb-ft (339 Nm) for the series. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
