The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XRITX-V3GH or 489XRITXV3GH, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, eliminating an extra potential leak path. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. Compatible transmissions include Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manufacturers with an 8-bolt PTO aperture. Internal components are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
