The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XSEVX-W5RB or 489XSEVXW5RB, is an 8-bolt PTO assembly built for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo, and Mack. Its one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Intermittent torque capacity for this series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
