The Chelsea 489ZHDAX-A3XD or 489ZHDAXA3XD is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible units. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate that conventional designs require and reducing potential leak paths. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (check application pages for your specific configuration), with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
