The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489ZHDAX-A3RB or 489ZHDAXA3RB, is an 8-bolt PTO assembly designed to mount directly to manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing carries the same intermittent torque rating as the 442 Series - up to 250 lb-ft (339 Nm) per the application charts. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round configuration, and shift is wire/cable mechanical. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal parts are common to the 442 Series, which simplifies service. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for improved load capacity.
