The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489ZHDAX-A5RF or 489ZHDAXA5RF, is an 8-bolt PTO designed to bolt directly to the transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and others. Its one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate required on some competing designs, reducing potential leak paths. Shift is accomplished via wire/cable mechanical actuation, with an electric-over-air shift option also available on this series. The 1-1/4" round output shaft delivers intermittent torque in the 250 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1000 RPM.
