The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489ZHDAX-T5RB or 489ZHDAXT5RB, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate found on some PTO installations, reducing potential leak paths. This unit delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. Shift is accomplished via wire/cable mechanical actuation. An electric-over-air shift option is available within the series.
