The Chelsea 489ZLDAX-A5GK or 489ZLDAXA5GK is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec units. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating a common leak path. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 489 Series shares internal parts with the 442 Series and delivers the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque rating. Shaft power measures 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity. Call us to confirm proper fit for your transmission and application.
