The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 871LCFJW-B5TS or 871LCFJWB5TS, is a 10-bolt, hydraulic PowerShift PTO designed for Allison transmissions. It delivers continuous torque capacity up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) with no derating required for continuous-duty applications. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options give installers broad flexibility across fire and rescue, refuse, truck crane, and pumper cleaner applications. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while countering vibrational stress from modern engine designs. The Wet Spline pump flange protects both the PTO and pump shaft. SmartStart and Quiet Gear options are available for applicable configurations. The 871 Series replaces Chelsea's 870 Series PTO.
