The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off, part number 871LGFJW-B5TF or 871LGFJWB5TF, is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic) PTO designed for Allison transmissions. The 871 Series delivers continuous torque capacity up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) with no derating required for continuous-duty applications, making it well suited for fire and rescue, refuse, truck crane, and pumper cleaner vocations. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options give installers significant flexibility. A ductile iron bearing cap rates 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing the vibrational effects of modern engine designs. The compact housing profile reduces clearance concerns during installation. The 871 Series is the only Chelsea PTO to combine Wet Spline, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear options in a single platform, directly replacing the earlier Chelsea 870 Series.
