The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 871XCFJP-D3RS or 871XCFJPD3RS, is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic) PTO designed for Allison transmissions. The 871 Series replaces the earlier Chelsea 870 Series and carries a continuous torque rating of up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) with no derating required for continuous duty. A ductile iron bearing cap, rated 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduce the vibrational effects of modern engine designs. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options provide broad application flexibility across fire and rescue, refuse, pumper cleaner, and crane truck work.
