The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 871XDFJP-D3AC or 871XDFJPD3AC, is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic) PTO designed for Allison transmission applications. The 871 Series replaces the earlier 870 Series with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron and an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap that improves clamp load and reduces vibration-related wear. The compact housing reduces installation clearance conflicts. The series supports up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) continuous torque with no derating required for continuous-duty use, nine speed ratios, and thirteen output configurations. Available options include Wet Spline pump flange, SmartStart for reduced shock load at start-up, Quiet Gear input, and Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC).
