The Chelsea 871XDFJP-D5AC or 871XDFJPD5AC is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic shift) Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 871 Series, designed for Allison transmission applications. The compact housing reduces clearance issues common in tight under-cab installations. The series delivers continuous torque capacity up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) with no derating required for continuous duty. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output configurations give this unit broad application flexibility across fire and rescue, truck crane, pumper cleaner, and refuse markets. A ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduce the damaging vibrational effects of modern engine designs. The 871 Series replaces the earlier Chelsea 870 Series PTO. It is the only Chelsea PTO to offer all three of Chelsea's high-demand options together: Wet Spline, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear.
