The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 871XFFJP-B5RF or 871XFFJPB5RF, is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic) PTO designed for Allison transmissions. The series delivers continuous torque capacity up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) with no derating required for continuous duty operation. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options give installers a wide range of configuration choices for demanding vocational applications including fire and rescue, truck cranes, refuse, and pumper-cleaner trucks. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces vibrational effects and improves clamp load. Optional Wet Spline pump flange, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear configurations are available. The 871 Series replaces the earlier Chelsea 870 Series PTO.
