The Chelsea 878 Series Power Take-Off, part number 878XAFJP-M5RY or 878XAFJPM5RY, is a constant mesh PTO engineered for Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series delivers up to 670 lb-ft of continuous torque in the smallest package available for this class. A ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron replaces the previous design, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and resists vibrational stress from modern engine designs. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues, and driveline outputs include a positive stop to protect the oil seal.
