The Chelsea 878XAFJW-M3RS or 878XAFJWM3RS is a constant mesh Power Take-Off Assembly built for Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. Part of Chelsea's 878 Series, this PTO delivers up to 670 lb-ft of continuous torque, the highest torque capability in its class for this mounting footprint. The cast iron housing and ductile iron bearing cap (117% stronger than gray iron) are designed to handle the vibrational stress of modern engine designs. An O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and sealing integrity. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications, and a wet spline lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times. Rotatable cast iron flanges reduce clearance and interference issues, while driveline outputs incorporate a positive stop to prevent oil seal damage. The hose is included.
