878XBFJP-M3RF Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 878 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 878XBFJP-M3RF or 878XBFJPM3RF, is a constant mesh PTO engineered to mount on Allison 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series improves on the proven 877 design with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and an 80% increase in clutch pack disc thickness to combat vibrational stress from modern engine designs. The series supports up to 670 lb-ft in continuous-duty applications. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high range work, and the Wet Spline Lubrication option delivers 7 to 10 times greater output shaft life. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues, and the positive-stop driveline output eliminates oil seal damage from coupling contact.
