The Chelsea 878 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 878XBKVW-M3RS or 878XBKVWM3RS, is a constant mesh PTO engineered to fit Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series builds on the proven 877 Series platform with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and rotatable cast-iron flanges to reduce interference issues. A single continuous duty torque rating simplifies application sizing. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed requirements. The Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times compared to standard configurations. A hydraulic hose is included.
