The Chelsea 878XDFJP-M3AC or 878XDFJPM3AC is a constant mesh Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 878 Series, designed to mount on Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibrational stress from modern engine designs. Steel disc thickness within the clutch pack has been increased by 80% over the predecessor 877 Series. The 878 Series delivers up to 670 lb-ft continuous torque and offers nine speed ratios covering both low and high speed ranges. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues, and driveline outputs include a positive-stop feature that eliminates oil seal damage from coupling contact. A hose is included.
