878XEFJW-M5RY Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 878 Series Power Take-Off, part number 878XEFJW-M5RY or 878XEFJWM5RY, is a constant mesh PTO designed to mount on Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series delivers up to 670 lb-ft of continuous torque, the highest torque capability in its package size. A ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron resists the vibrational stress of modern engine designs. An O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and reduces vibration-related wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications. Rotatable cast-iron flanges minimize clearance and interference issues, and the Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life 7 to 10 times compared to standard configurations.
