The Chelsea 890 Series PTO Assembly, part number 890XFFJW-B5XS or 890XFFJWB5XS, is a hydraulic PowerShift power take-off engineered specifically for Allison 3000 MD and 4000 HD Series transmissions. It mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and uses an SAE C output flange with a Wet Spline output shaft to reduce wear on the PTO and pump shaft in demanding service. The extended one-piece main shaft moves the pump mounting flange to the rear of the transmission, improving clearance between the pump and the frame rail. The clutch sits at the rear of the housing, allowing the gear section to sit tight against the transmission. Continuous-duty torque reaches 670 lb-ft; intermittent torque is rated at 501+ lb-ft. Shaft power output is 64 HP at 500 RPM and 128 HP at 1,000 RPM. Common applications include aerial trucks, fire and rescue, refuse, and truck crane service. Call us to confirm proper fit for your specific Allison transmission configuration.
