Fabco 235-0678-005 intermediate shaft cap fits the TC-270 transfer case and is the three port version, so count the ports on the cap you pulled off before you order. The cap carries the intermediate shaft position and seals that bore, and the port count is what tells the variants apart within the same base number, which is exactly where the wrong-part calls come from on this family. Genuine Meritor part in the Fabco line, written 235-0678-005 or 2350678005, UPC 193174392351, one per unit pack. Pro Gear and Transmission handles Fabco transfer case parts and can walk the suffix with you if the tag is unreadable.
