The Midland Haldex EL16100X is a 1600 Series air brake compressor built for Detroit Diesel 50° (DDC 50°) engine applications. It replaces OEM part number NT7210E. Rated at 16.1 CFM at 1250 RPM with a 1.87 in. stroke and a 2.75 in. bore diameter, this unit features a rotatable head, flange mount with gear drive, top/flange discharge, end cap oil feed, flange oil drain, and water-cooled operation. Both head rotation and block rotation are right-hand. Overall dimensions are 12.19 in. tall, 7.09 in. wide, and 9.90 in. long, with a 0.41 in. external shaft length. Service units are furnished without governors or manifolds and may require head rotation and end cap rotation prior to installation. Torque the nut to 100-135 ft. lbs.
