The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8B-U6005-E1PX or CS8BU6005E1PX, is an 8-bolt clutch-shift PTO designed for broad transmission compatibility across most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Output options include three remote mount shaft configurations in keyed and flange types, plus direct mount pump flanges in SAE "A", "B", and "BB" and DIN 5462 patterns. The rotatable direct mount flanges allow positioning for maximum underhood clearance. Muncie's patented drag brake holds the output shaft stationary when the PTO is disengaged, and an optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
