The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8B-U6806-E1PX or CS8BU6806E1PX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed for remote pump drive and direct mount pump applications. The CS8 Series accommodates six transmission input gears, covering most popular automatic and manual transmissions including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump options include SAE "A", "B", and "BB" flanges as well as DIN 5462, with rotatable flanges that allow pump repositioning for clearance. Three remote output shaft configurations are available in keyed and flange types. Muncie's patented drag brake locks the output shaft when the PTO is disengaged, and an optional pulse generator supports shaft speed monitoring via a System Protection Device.
