The Muncie CS8B-U6806-A3IX or CS8BU6806A3IX is an 8-bolt clutch shift power take-off in the CS8 Series, designed to fit a broad range of automatic and manual transmissions including Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards and are fully rotatable for maximum pump clearance. Three remote mount output shaft options cover both keyed and flange configurations for flexibility in pump drive installations. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents unwanted shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator is available for System Protection Device shaft-speed monitoring.
