The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8B-U6806-E3KC or CS8BU6806E3KC, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO unit designed to fit a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges are available in SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 configurations, and the flanges rotate to allow maximum clearance when positioning the pump. Three remote mount output shaft options cover both keyed and flange types for remote pump drive flexibility. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
