The Muncie CS8B-U6812-A3KX or CS8BU6812A3KX is a CS8 Series power take-off unit with an 8-bolt clutch shift engagement. It covers 19 transmission input gear configurations, making it compatible with most popular automatic and manual transmissions including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and the flanges rotate to position the pump for maximum clearance. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange types for remote pump drive installations. Muncie's patented drag brake holds the output shaft stationary when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
