The Muncie CS8B-U6812-P1BX or CS8BU6812P1BX is a CS8 Series power take-off unit built for clutch-shift operation with an 8-bolt configuration. It accepts 19 transmission input gears, making it compatible with a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions including Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct-mount pump options cover SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 flanges, and the rotatable direct-mount flanges let you position the pump for maximum clearance. Muncie's patented drag brake holds the output shaft stationary when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator is available for use with a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
