The Muncie CS8B-U6003-P1BX or CS8BU6003P1BX is a CS8 Series power take-off featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift engagement. The CS8 Series accommodates 19 transmission input gear options, fitting most popular automatic and manual transmissions including Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges are available in SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 configurations; those flanges are rotatable to maximize pump clearance in tight installations. Three remote mount output shafts cover both keyed and flange types for versatility in pump drive setups. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
