The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8B-U6812-P1CX or CS8BU6812P1CX, is an 8-bolt clutch-shift PTO designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges are offered in SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 configurations, and the flanges rotate to maximize clearance in tight engine compartments. Three remote mount output shaft options cover both keyed and flange types for flexible pump drive installations. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
