The Muncie CS8B-U6814-A1KX or CS8BU6814A1KX is a CS8 Series power take-off unit with an 8-bolt clutch shift configuration. It covers 19 transmission input gear combinations, making it compatible with most popular automatic and manual transmissions including Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges are available in SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 patterns, and those flanges rotate to maximize clearance for the pump. Three remote mount output shaft options come in keyed and flange types for remote pump drives. Muncie's patented drag brake holds the output shaft stationary when the PTO is off, and an optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device shaft-speed monitoring.
