The Muncie CS8 Series power take-off CS8B-U6005-A1KX or CS8BU6005A1KX is an 8-bolt clutch-shift PTO designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct-mount pump flanges accommodate SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 pump pads, and all flanges are rotatable to maximize clearance around the installation. Three remote-mount output shaft options cover both keyed and flange types for versatile pump drive configurations. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. Speed ratios 03 through 07 are rated at 57 HP and 300 ft-lb intermittent torque (210 ft-lb continuous); ratios 09, 12, and 14 step down to 52 HP and 275 ft-lb intermittent (193 ft-lb continuous).
