The Muncie CS8 Series power take-off, part number CS8D-S6806-A1BX or CS8DS6806A1BX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and the flanges are rotatable to allow maximum pump clearance in tight installations. Three remote mount output shaft configurations are available in keyed and flange types for remote pump drive flexibility. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
