The Muncie CS8D-S6812-A1BX or CS8DS6812A1BX is a CS8 Series power take-off unit with 8-bolt clutch shift engagement. It mounts to most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series, through a wide range of input gear options. Direct mount pump flanges cover SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 bolt patterns, and the flanges are rotatable for maximum clearance when positioning the pump. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange types for remote pump drive flexibility. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device shaft speed monitoring.
