The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8D-S6807-E1BX or CS8DS6807E1BX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed for broad transmission compatibility across popular automatic and manual transmissions, including Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and all flanges are rotatable to give maximum clearance for the pump. Three remote mount output shaft configurations are available in keyed and flange types for remote pump drives. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the unit is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
