The Muncie CS8 Series power take-off, part number CS8D-S6812-E1KR or CS8DS6812E1KR, is an 8-bolt clutch-shift PTO designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including Allison 1000/2000 series. It offers 19 transmission input gear options and three remote-mount output shaft configurations in both keyed and flange types for remote pump drive applications. Direct-mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards and are rotatable to maximize installation clearance. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the unit is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
