The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-M6509-A3KX or CS8SM6509A3KX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed for compatibility with a broad range of automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. The unit supports SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 direct mount pump configurations, with rotatable flanges that let you position the pump for maximum clearance. Three remote mount output shaft options in keyed and flange types add flexibility for remote pump drive installations. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
