The Muncie CS8S-M6509-E3SX or CS8SM6509E3SX is a CS8 Series Power Take-Off configured as an 8-bolt clutch shift unit. It fits most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series, covering 19 transmission input gear options across the CS6/CS8 family. Direct mount pump flanges are SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462, and all flanges are rotatable so the pump can be positioned for maximum clearance. Three remote mount output shaft types are available in keyed and flange configurations for versatile pump drive setups. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents unintended shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
