The Muncie CS8S-U6812-E1KX or CS8SU6812E1KX is a CS8 Series power take-off featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift design. It is compatible with a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series, thanks to 19 available transmission input gear configurations. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" and DIN 5462 standards, and the flanges rotate to position the pump for maximum clearance. Three remote mount output shaft options in keyed and flange types support versatile pump drive setups. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is off, and an optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
